Purpose

The purpose of this Church is the same as those purposes outlined in the teachings of Jesus Christ as they are found in the New Testament. Further, to encourage and support missionary outreach to people in Pensacola, FL, the surrounding areas, and worldwide who are open to the teaching of Jesus Christ. To this end, Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church supports the following great goals; we say that they are:

1. To see and lead to Jesus Christ, those spiritually lost persons.
2. To maintain public worship of Jesus Christ for Christian religious nurture and growth.
3. To promote the study and practice of Christian living; and
4. To promote and advance the cause of Jesus Christ and His Kingdom in this city and worldwide.
